Primarily this is a reference manual for Subsea Inspection. This book would never of been written without a giant in the industry Mr Len Porter who authored ‘The Underwater Inspectors handbook’ Orca press in 1988. Len’s work has been used as a basis for teaching inspection, although his clear concise descriptions have been diluted and lost on the way with training centres.
The genesis of this eBook is to avoid additional expense and loss of work, promoting safe inspection dive teams. It is not designed to make money out of divers. I made this manual due to amount of divers contacting me for an app and eBook, something portable and easier than the 600 pages of dense course material. To do this (as the introduction reads) I have returned to “A Handbook for Underwater Inspectors” simple explanations and advanced it into the 21st century.
This study guide tackles the complexity forced on the Inspection Divers when gaining certification in underwater Inspection . It is easy to read, clear, concise and technically accurate, making use of original 3D visualisations, with multi choice questions after each chapter, in addition a 100 question mock exam. The aim is to provide essential learning of every possible aspect of Diver Inspection techniques from infield to the exam room. I. The manual has been reviewed by ex tutors and some very experienced folk in the industry.
